- Lily could have waited until Rosaleen got out of jail and they both could have ran away together instead of breaking out of jail and the hospital.
- Lily could have visited Rosaleen in jail..Lily couldn't have stopped Rosaleen from pouring that chew spit on the white man's shoes.
